Imperial College London

Imperial College London is a public research university in London. Imperial grew out of Prince Albert’s vision of an area for culture, including the Royal Albert Hall, Imperial Institute, numerous museums, and the Royal Colleges that would go on to form the college. In 1988, the Imperial College School of Medicine was formed by combining with St Mary’s Hospital Medical School. In 2004, Queen Elizabeth II opened the Imperial College Business School.

The college focuses exclusively on science, technology, medicine and business. The college’s main campus is located in South Kensington, and it has an innovation campus in White City, a research field station at Silwood Park, and teaching hospitals throughout London.

Queen Mary University of London

Queen Mary University of London is a public research university in London, England, and a constituent college of the federal University of London. It dates back to the foundation of London Hospital Medical College in 1785.

Queen Mary has five campuses across East and Central London in Mile End, Whitechapel, Charterhouse Square, Lincoln’s Inn Fields and West Smithfield, as well as an international presence in China, France, Greece and Malta. The Mile End campus is the largest self-contained campus of any London-based Russell Group university.

University of Dundee

The University of Dundee is a public research university in Dundee, Scotland. It is a red brick university, founded as a university college in 1881 with a donation from the prominent Baxter family of textile manufacturers. The institution was, for most of its early existence, a constituent college of the University of St Andrews alongside United College and St Mary’s College located in the town of St Andrews itself. Following significant expansion, the University of Dundee gained independent university status by royal charter in 1967 while retaining much of its ancient heritage and governance structure.

The University of Kent is a public research university based in Kent, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1965 and is a plate glass university. Aberystwyth University

Aberystwyth University is a public research university in Aberystwyth, Wales. The university has over 8,000 students studying across 3 academic faculties and 17 departments. In 2019, it became the first university to be named “University of the year for teaching quality” by The Times/Sunday Times Good University Guide for two consecutive years. It is the first university in the world to be awarded Plastic Free University status (for single-use plastic items).

Loughborough University

Loughborough University is a public research university in the market town of Loughborough, Leicestershire, in the East Midlands of England. Loughborough University is very proud of its reputation for sport and is renowned in the UK for its sports provisions. It is home to the world’s largest university-based sports technology research group, which is part of the Sports Technology Institute.

Loughborough was named University of the Year 2019 in The Times and Sunday Times University Good University Guide. It is the only university to have won the title twice. Loughborough also moved up to 5th overall in the Good University Guide. Loughborough University was ranked 4th in the 2019 Guardian University League table.

Winchester University is a member of The Cathedrals Group, an association of universities and university colleges in the United Kingdom.

University for the Creative Arts

The University for the Creative Arts is a specialist art and design university in the south of England.

It was formed in 2005 as University College for the Creative Arts at Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, Maidstone and Rochester. It was granted university status in 2008, and the name changed to the present one. In 2016 it merged with the Open College of the Arts.

University of Edinburgh

The University of Edinburgh, founded in 1582, is the sixth oldest university in the United Kingdom and English-speaking world and one of Scotland’s ancient universities. The university has five main campuses in the city of Edinburgh, which include many buildings of historical and architectural significance such as those in Old Town. The university played an important role in Edinburgh becoming a chief intellectual centre during the Scottish Enlightenment, contributing to the city being nicknamed the “Athens of the North”.
