Laude BSV host a talk about the latest trends in Marketing

Last Friday, the Sixth Form students of Laude British School of Vila-real (Castellón) attended a marketing talk and workshop given by the Marketing & Business School – ESIC of Valencia, aimed to Year 12 and Year 13 students of Business Studies and Economics.

The students learnt about the fundamental pillars of marketing, the different marketing strategies, and how to develop a good marketing strategy taking into account the latest trends.

As an example of good marketing practices, they learnt about ECOALF, a company that has been converting marine debris and rubbish into top quality fashion products for more than 10 years. They have also created the ECOALF Foundation, a non-profit organization whose main objective is to promote the recovery of waste in order to recycle it and avoid its harmful impact on the environment.

Finally, the students took part in a practical workshop in which they simulated being part of the ECOALF Marketing department, created and developed a “cobranding” collaboration with another company with a similar target audience, and established the 4 P’s of marketing.

The students said that they really enjoyed the workshop and learned a lot with this magnificent initiative.
