TEDxYouth@Claremontschool 2021 “Young voices, big ideas”
The TEDxYouth @ ClaremontSchool is a one-day event for ISP students from 11 to 18 years old, with live speakers sharing short talks and serving as a source of knowledge and inspiration for young people around the world. The TEDx event will take place at Claremont School in the UK in February 2022.
All expenses will be covered by ISP. This is an incredible opportunity for pupils to improve their public speaking and become confident communicators of English.
Key dates
TEDx event at Claremont School: 7, 8, 9 February 2022
How can I register my child?
If your child is interested in applying, they should send a 1 minute video explaining their idea for their TED talk to our TEDxYouth coordinator, Mr. Alexander MacDougall a.macdougall@bsv.edu.es along with the permission forms (links below) by the 18th October. The topic for the talks is “Young Voices, Big Ideas”. The speech should focus on a topic that interests young people. You can share a powerful idea, experience, or new idea as a source of knowledge and inspiration for young people around the world.
Three students will be chosen by a selection committee within school as finalists and these finalists will be coached and prepared before a final audition where one student will be picked from BSV to attend the event at Claremont School.
We hope your children take part and enjoy this unique learning opportunity for another fantastic year of Amazing Learning!
